When I first discovered it years ago, oud was a true revelation. For me, it is the woody note of tomorrow.” With CUIR, he has given the classic ingredient a strikingly edgy twist, matching it with a wholly unexpected partner: violet leaf. “The texture and patina of oud are lightened and enhanced by the violet leaf note, whose natural green sensation is tinged with floral softness”, Fabrice Pellegrin explains.
